RGI went over and above throughout our buying process. We decided to put an offer in during the construction phase of the investment property. Newly constructed investment properties do not stay on the market long in Chicago so we were fortunate that our realtor was able to find this property fast. We had a few different properties we were considering, but the rent rolls that RGI was able to secure were hard to pass up. They focused on building each unit as if it were owner occupied grade as opposed to rent grade. It's not often that developers reach out to buyers after closing to see how the building is holding up. We bought a newly constructed 3 unit building with a duplex from RGI. We decided to rent the first 2 floors and live in the duplex. The rent that we receive from our first two units covers our entire mortgage payment. RGI held one of the units for vacation rental and included the furniture in the sale, essentially handing over a turnkey property to us. RGI really prioritized tall ceilings, great use of space, open concepts and the master suite finishes and layout. We are excited about our property and our area.

Before becoming one of Chicago’s Top Brokers, Rubina graduated Summa Cum Laude with a degree in Management Information Systems and started her career as an IT Consultant. After four years in the industry, Rubina was recruited by Discover Financials to work in their Risk Management department. Rubina continued her thirteen year career in Risk Management and worked for large banks such as HSBC and CapitalOne before deciding to make the leap into what she now loves doing the most, real estate. Rubina has been a real estate broker for nine years and is very excited to be a part of the Jameson Sotheby’s International Realty family.
Rubina works hard to stay competitive by training and educating herself in the evolving real estate market. She holds a number of designations within the National Association of Realtors (NAR). Her designations include: Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR), Certified Negotiation Expert (CNE), Brokers Price Opinion (BPO) accreditation, Sellers Representative Specialist (SRS), and most recently, Rubina completed her Certified Luxury Home Marketing Specialist™ (CLHMS) designation. Evaluating properties depends now more than ever on professional expertise and competence, the best use of technology, and a commitment to approach the valuation assignment from all pertinent perspectives. These designations have a powerfully competitive edge over other agents because of their ability to uncover information effectively, get more during sales negotiations, and retain control over desired outcomes.
Rubina has always believed in giving back to the community, and she founded the organisation known as Brokers Who Give Back. BWGB is made up of real estate brokers who have committed to donating a portion of their commission from every transaction to the buyer’s or seller’s charity of choice. In addition to monetary donations, brokers donate their time by volunteering for different causes. Brokers who participate in BWGB are dedicated to providing those in need with access to a greater quality of life.
In her free time, Rubina enjoys working out, travelling, dining at new restaurants in Chicago, cheering on her favourite Chicago sports teams and spending time with her daughter who currently attends NYU in New York City. She speaks multiple languages including English, Urdu, Hindi and Farsi. Rubina currently resides in Chicago’s beautiful Streeterville neighbourhood.
